These are some in game images i have taken recently.
These images show the quality of the game.
This is some footage i have taken that shows the depth of the game. The video also has evidence of the sound i have incorporated into the game which i value highly and think is excellent quality.
This in game footage also shows the layout of the game nicely. I choose to do my layout his way because in my opinion its easy on the eye and simple to understand.
Whilst i was completing my project my skills have improved drastically. I feel my knowledge of the
Construct 2 application has improved greatly, allowing me to add animations and coding mechanics which i never could of done before.
My artistic talent which was almost none existent before this project has improved to a point where i have surprised myself.
Something that i never really took into account as much until this project was the planning ahead of time, before I've began the project entirely. My planning skills including keeping track of my progress has been improved which will help me develop as a person as well.

Checking my pitch and proposal multiple times throughout creating my product, has lead me to feel i did a pretty spot on job keeping to my overall plan i had from the start. I could have made changes going along but i knew i made promises which lead me to stick to my plan from the start and create a Difficult 2D Survival shooter but i did make slim changes here and their to make the game the best it could be within the time scale i was given. Something i had a problem incorporating into the game was the backstory, which was one of my crucial tasks i gave myself to incorporate because it would help me achieve what i wanted aiming towards my target audience but overall i still believe my game would attract my audience the same way.
Beginning this project knowing that i wasn't going to stick to the schedule exactly and that i was going to make changes made my life a lot easier but honestly their actually wasn't much in this project that didn't go to plan. I did unfortunately forget about a few important factors to add to my schedule like my pitch planning which lead to me being under pressure when pitching the idea but i got it done in the slim time scale i had to plan it before the pitch.
I had time away from college which unfortunately also lead to me not continuing on with this project, but this didn't affect my project much, i just had extra work to do when i returned which i handled perfectly fine.
As you can see here i received responses from multiple people who reviewed my game. They seem overall positive with a whopping 70% saying they enjoyed the game. I also asked why they enjoyed it and just as i thought from the proposal and pitch idea, my audience enjoyed the challenge of the game. This tells me i was correct creating a challenging game.
I also asked for a simple rating of my game out of 10. After looking at the results ive realized i did a good job. Its not perfect but this is understandable with the standards so high nowadays.
As i am a 2 year on going so far, game design student, i feel i did extremely well complying to the brief i had for this project. Showing i had the ability to manage independently and produce a log of my pre production, production and of course the post produce which is the best part.
The skills i have acquired over the past 2 years during this course has given me vast knowledge of the construct program and this helped me create the game. Also the fact i have been planning and scheduling my projects the same way including this project over the past 2 years, the layout for this project felt normal to me which made the whole process easier.
Creating quite a few sketches off my game before hand was a great help towards actually creating my game. This allowed me to always be able to see what my game will ultimately look like before hand but also allows me to add changes at will. I made changes to my schedule to make sure i was kept on track for my deadline but with the least pressure mount on my head each week. This helped keep my head on straight and complete my project at ease. Overall i think i completed this project at a great professional standard that was required and would happily do it again.
